For modern Annke DVRs, including the DN81R series, the setup is completely different. The first time you power on the device, you will be forced to create your own through an "Activation" process. The default username remains admin , but this account no longer has a password until you create one.
In the past, many ANNKE devices shipped with well-known default passwords like "admin" or "123456". However, for improved security against unauthorized access, ANNKE has changed its policy for many of its newer or recently manufactured models. The ANNKE DN81R generally falls into this category.
