A larger memory sector holding the vehicle’s master control software, operating engine maps, and configuration code parameters (often targeted for performance chip tuning or emissions modifications).

While a standard diagnostic tool like VCDS (VAG-COM) allows you to read fault codes and view live data, a dump tool goes far deeper, accessing the raw configuration and identification data that a car uses to operate. A "dump" is the complete binary file—a digital snapshot—taken from that memory. This file is then loaded into a dump tool, which interprets, displays, and allows for the editing of key information such as the vehicle's VIN, immobilizer PIN, Component Security (CS), and MAC codes.

Stores vehicle-specific cryptographic data, including the immobilizer (Immo) code, vehicle identification number (VIN), odometer mileage, and transponder key data.

These vehicles include Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, and Porsche.
