According to historical narrations found in various traditional Islamic texts, Abu Dujana approached the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) with a distressing grievance. He reported that while sleeping in his bed, he would hear a harsh whistling sound, see a mysterious shadow-like entity, and feel a burning sensation on his skin.
